Ricardo Jaén

Ricardo Jaén has been a resident artist since October 2010, was integral in the founding of Up Collective, and has been Rentals and Events Manager since November 2011. As an extension of being a mixed media oil painter himself, Jaén’s work with Up Collective has been to actively seek out and bring together artists from all different disciplines. Beginning with organizing the anual East of SX music showcase in 2011 as well as helping to set the foundation for the 6×6 Project, Jaén aims to fill the space with, and bring together art makers of all kinds.

Taylor Browning
Assistant Director // Interpretation Manager

Taylor Browning has been a resident artist since October 2010 and helped to found Up Collective in 2011. Though her medium of choice is oil paint, she is also a devoted user of new media and technology and is constantly exploring innovative ways to integrate them into her personal and professional endeavors. Browning holds a BA in Studio Art from St. Edward’s University and an MA in Art Education from The University of Texas at Austin and is currently working as Education Coordinator for Landmarks, the public art program of UT.

Jessica MathewsJessica Mathews
Communications & Volunteer Coordinator
Jessica Mathews joined the Up Collective community after graduation from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2012. As a resident artist, Jessica is primarily a painter that creates handmade explorations of digital structures and behaviors. Other interests include teaching and writing, which have led her to her role as communications & volunteer coordinator.
